Sodium Succinate (Compare to the active ingredient in TONICOR re) is a respiratory stimulant.
Indications: Respiratory depression of any origin. To increase respiratory volume. To avoid effort hemorrhage. Benefits: Every metabolic processes are energy producers and closely related to oxygen consumption, and it is known that this element has to be obtained from respiration. From this fact derives the necessity of increasing oxygen entrance when the level of metabolical processes increases and this is possible by heightening respiratory frequency and inspired air frequency. Sodium Succinate is a powerful respiratory stimulant. The parenternal administration of a dose of Sodium Succinate is followed by a genuine respiratory stimulation which is produced in a progressive form, it endures several hours and it is manifested in all cases by an increase an extent of respiratory movements and their frequency, as it is showed in a greater grade of hemoglobin saturation. Sodium Succinate is absolutely innocuous, free of secondary reactions and it can be administrated every time it is needed without to become accustomed. Dosage and Administration: Administer 10 to 20ml once or twice daily, according to necessity.
Preparation for a event: Administer 10 to 20ml 3-4 hours before the event by IV or IM injection.
