DADA 250 Injection is a detoxifier and vasodilator to increase blood flow to the brain and peripheral tissues.
Composition: Contains: Di-isopropylamine Dichloroacetate (DADA) 250mg/ml
Features and Benefits: DADA is a vasodilator of peripheral and cerebral arterioles. It’s also considered to aid in the detoxification of chemical and metallic metabolites, possibly by the formation of chelate-like compounds whose excretion by the kidneys is facilitated and increased. DADA increases oxygen utilization and cortical glucose uptake.
Indications: DADA 250 is used in the routine support of horses and dogs under stress of training and hard work and/or as an adjunct in the treatment of heavy nitrate, metal or organic phosphate intoxications. In the latter case, the combination of DADA 250 with the amino acids arginine and lysine seem to have a potentiating action.
Dosage and Administration: Horses: Administer by intramuscular injection (IM). Routine Training: 5-10ml twice weekly. Heavy Training: 10-20ml twice daily. Dogs: Administer by intramuscular injection (IM). Routine Training: 0.5-1ml twice weekly.
